Guest post: Tom Howder of Twelve Mile Circle

We're taking a bit of a summer breather here at Google Sightseeing, so to fill the gap in our schedule, we asked Tom Howder of the fascinating Twelve Mile Circle blog to write up a story he and his readers had been investigating a few weeks ago - completely looped roads, or as Tom likes to refer to them: "Pigtail Auto Loops"

Escorca Spain Pigtail Bridge

Tom wrote us an excellent guest post about geographical oddities in Washington, DC last year, and if you don't read his blog already then you should definitely check it out, as he writes about all kinds of places on maps that just don't seem to make sense, including many that he's visited personally.

If you’re an aspiring geo-blogger - and you’d like to be considered for a guest spot here on Google Sightseeing - then send us a link to your site and we’ll be in touch with the most interesting writers!
