This is right across from Fort Carson… the road that branches off to the right just past the bug goes to two little local museums, the space exploration museum and the BUG MUSEUM! Really cool bug musem that has far more interesting things than you’d think by looking at the old wooden building from the outside. There’s also a campground/rv park just up the driveway from those museums that I’ve stayed at a few times. Nice area at the base of Cheyenne Mountain where you constantly get Elk trouncing across your path.
